Project Pied Piper

Our research project for 2010 is 'Project Pied Piper' and will take place in the form of six seperate case studies that will be conducted over the year once good weather graces the UK.

The aim of Project Pied Piper is to look at well known myths, legends and folklore stories based in the county of Wiltshire to see just how much of the story is true, and how much is because of word of mouth. How many stories have you heard about local woodland, crumbling castles, Midnight spectres and the such that are just taken at face value? Well, we at WPR have heard so many over our years of investigating the paranormal that we decided it was time that some of them were researched.

Members of the WPR team will spend the year camped out at different story hot spots across the county of Wiltshire to try and bring you the facts behind the legends and myths in the hope that maybe, just maybe, we'll catch a glimpse of the legendary beasts, phantoms and other strange creatures that make Wiltshire the reputedly weird county that it is.

Click on each seperate case study in the menu above to learn more about it. However, we will only be updating each case study page once our research and investigations have concluded for that particular case study.
